^?

There is nothing wrong with wanting tww to do well this season. I hope everyone has a good season except when Hibernian and Wingmen play my team.

^We'll do ok on offense this year, but I wish I had the tdubb on the backline yet. elduderino needs to get laid off again.

^We should have done better. I have some pretty good forwards and midfielders who have played in college, or in the TASL A division. We won't get shut out every weekend.

we've got 2 guys on our team that used to play in A. they said aside from 1 or 2 teams it's not much different than B or C. but you're lucky we don't play you twice this year. you'll only have to count on 1 more shutout instead of two.

^Yeah I was sort of thinking that too with the way each team always seems to have a game or two where 11, or less show up. I wish it was an 8:00 pm game instead of 8:00 am because the Mantras are at The Pour House on April 1st. I guess I will be missing that.

Oh good! GCE lost. I probably shouldn't have said what I said like I did after the center circle brawl vs Hibernian last spring, but that is how it ended with that crowd. Then one of them started a team and stole all of the players I wanted back. They probably would have left anyway because their summer heat team wanted to play in the fall, but I still don't like how I lost my best defenders thanks to that team forming. TWW did fine filling in last year though. Too bad they didn't come back either.

Our season doesn't start for 2 more weeks. Our best player and top goal scorer isn't playing this year due to work and we're missing a few other guys. Could be a rough season but I'm sure I'll have fun anyway.

Sporting Raleigh with a 3-0 win over Raleigh FC. We looked 20x better than last week and we already have a better record than last season.

The team we play Monday were not particularly exceptional least season. I have no intention of writing a check my team can't cash, but I hope we do well.

Three of the new guys I signed. Arthur told me that first goal for us was a flick with his heel. I thought it was maybe an own goal. I'll take it though!

btw Wingmen, Will B. quit playing for my team and joined Garden City Eagles. Paul F. also plays for Raleigh FC. He was first to sign up, but then he joined Raleigh FC when I only had 9 players on roster about a week before the sign up deadline. He wanted to make sure he had a team to play on.

In the end it all worked out though because I have a really good midfield and some good forwards. Twwers I signed this season know how to play!

Oh and Ted said he was still very "pissy" because of last weeks loss to Hibernian. Then he told his team not to play like a bunch a vaginias.

My team can take them after what I saw today. That guy who wears #9 needs to be shut down at forward and then they are easy to beat.

Also, #23 for Blizzard is one of the best players I have seen play this season. That guys is very dangerous at left forward.

Ruckus FC won tonight, 4 - 2. We very easily could have scored more. Shout outs to amac884 for his first TASL goal, with d7freestyler providing the assist. JTMONEYNCSU also provided an assist.

Organization and patience were our strong points tonight. We hit on the counter and shredded the back line of our opponents.

We went into half time up 3 - 0.

Weaknesses were how we came out flat at the beginning of the second half and allowed our opponents to get a quick goal back. Their forward momentum was nullified by our forward pressure and my scoring of a quick goal right after to make it 4 - 1 and take the wind out of their sails. Also I made a pretty dumb substitution that swapped out players right before the end that broke our back line's cohesion and allowed them to sneak a goal back right before the end of the second half. That won't happen again.

In summary:

Oh well! I had a lot of my best players missing anyway, so hopefully they schedule it for a time when they will be back.
