^Take Dan Allen to Fraternity Court. There is a really long parking lot. The fields are behind the trees. Park by the broken basketball goal and take the stairs. The upper field is where everyone meets.

^M-F they have about a 9 v 9 there on the upper field at 7:00 pm. Last week when I went to meet my new team it turned into a 14 vs 14 which alway sucks.

For those who are interested in knowing what we are talking about, the red circle to the left is where they play.

The field is not the best manicured in the world. Passes kept going off target tonight because of the lumps in the grass. But it's much closer than the more attractive fields, so I'll probably play there once a week.

^I thought those fields were pretty good actually. Then again, when you play in TASL Men's Open C you get the honor of playing at Thomas Brooks Park, Davis Drive, and Preston Woods. TBP is a sand trap.

At Middle Creek, the grass is level and all the lines are always painted. The sandy soil is not that bad because 99% of it is covered with grass. The field is surrounded by high fences, so you don't have to worry about getting poison ivy when retrieving a ball. If you like the Frat Court field, you'll love Middle Creek.

yeah middle creek is probably the best non-artificial field we play on.

^It's no different than last year. Pretty much all fields are shitty because they get used by people year round even when they are too wet to play on.

Here is the full schedule. I just wish they had the games back to back to back to back again, so I could watch every team once before we play them. The game after yours is the one I would really like to see, but there is too big of a time gap between the end of that one and the start of mine. Someone said that Newcastle has 4 players this year that played on a men's open A team that folded after the spring season.

Damn! We got up 2-0 and ended up tying at 2-2. At least they repaired the TBP fields, so that they are perfect again.

Oh and Nappers Knacks was playing Sasquatch in the B division before our game. They had 13 guys there. I don't know how Sasquatch is even allowed to have a team.

Don't worry, we'll get some wins. The back line and center mindfild just need to work together to mark up. It was the first game though, so we'll get better.

I forget who scored for us, but that guy who wears the #9 jersey for Newcastle got their first goal and help lead the come back. He plays center midfield, or center forward for them when he is in the game. If you let him loose then you guys will lose. If you shut him down then you will win. Attack down the wing that the old guy with the long hair is playing on. He is one of their weaker players imo.

I should've scored. I had a breakaway and ending up tripping with no one around me. I wish could blame the field but I don't think it's bad enough for me to do that now.

^Yeh you really can't blame the field since it is nice again. I wish we had every game at TBP this year. I liked the way you played though.

We (Sporting) definitely had some holes in the middle of the field and issues marking, myself contributing to both. I think a lot of it is because of fatigue. Newcastle have a lot of good players in the middle of the field and push 5 or 6 guys forward on attack. That being said, i thought we did very well stepping to the ball in our end of the field and creating a good counter attack. I am definitely looking forward to this season.

We'll be fine as long as everyone plays in their position block and marks up. Hopefully the gk shows up next week, so I can come off the bench and sub in last to make sure everyone subs in to the right places.

We were missing 3 or 4 of our veteran defenders, so we had some holes in the back and a few mental collapses. I guarantee we don't get 5 goals scored on us again this season.

Anyone want to GK for my indoor team this season, starting tomorrow? Games are Thursday nights at NetSports. Our keeper backed out at the last minute due to a persistent injury and now we have no one lined up for the season. If you know anyone that's interested please let me know.
